Weighted Dancer's Stretch & Conditioning

This class moves at a fast pace. If you are new to this class and do not have a dance, pilates or yoga background, we strongly suggest you take several Discover or Beginner Stretch classes before you attend this one. Dancer's stretch is our signature version of dance/yoga/pilates... with optional light weights strapped to your wrists and/or ankles. It is the first and only class of it's kind anywhere. The music is loud and the postures flow one to another like a beautiful dance. This class has so much to offer you - whether you simply want to work the stress out of your body, or whether you prefer the class as an intense warm-up for the class that follows it... you can have it either way. What a concept! An intense conditioning class that is also relaxing? (... someday we will be famous for this class!) Open to all students - from non-dancers to professionals - who want to achieve a higher level of conditioning and flexibility. This class can make a real impact on your flexibility by working dance-specific muscles. Watch your kicks, leaps, splits and general technique improve with this ideal blend.
