Weighted Barre (INS)
A Dance 101 original concept! Ever wanted your body to be a picture of fine-tuned perfection? Let our "weighted barre" class tone you and awaken muscles that you didn't even know you had! This is truly ballet with added bite. But the great thing about this class is that it will appeal to non ballet and ballet enthusiasts alike. This class focuses on exercises at the barre allowing you to master balance and perfect body alignment, both of which place you on the fast track toward grace and body control - regardless of whether you are a hip hop, jazz, bellydance,ballet or salsa dancer. It's one of the most effective workout your body has ever had. You will be guided through careful ballet exercises with slight ankle and wrist weights. Just imagine the strength you can gain without the boredom. Your muscles will fairly tingle and shake with the effort, but the results you will see will make every effort worth it.
