Ballet Stretch
There is no better preparation for Barre work then a deep stretch. Purposely offered prior to Discover Weighted Barre, this class is acombination of ballet stretches, yoga, and gyrokinesis. You will be in constant motion as you move from one exercise to another, buidling your heart rate and burning calories while you gracefully lengthen your muscles, improving balance and strengthening the spine. A soothing meditation at the end of class will center your core and your mind, and you will feel more in tune with your inner and outer self, ready to tackle your day. Taught by Kathryne Van Assche, whose skillful fusion of stretch postures with dance training will improve your flexibility and technique as a dancer.
