Discover Latin Jazz (REC)

Latin Jazz classes are popping up everywhere these days and for good reason. Spurred by a growing appreciation for Latin culture and music, Salsa is fast becoming as American as apple pie. Just about everyone knows how to do it, and if they don't, they want to learn how. Our Latin Jazz class does not require a partner; you are on your own. Latin jazz is a Latin American blend; combining broadway style jazz (100% American) and salsa (100% Latin). For the American angle, take Tim's class on Saturdays 11:30, a beautifully trained technical jazz dancer whose first love was Salsa. Or for the Latin angle, take Ofelia's class on Tuesdays 6pm, who first learned salsa from her Cuban parents at age 10.
