One of our most popular signature classes, Weighted Barre is an hour workout which uses ballet barre training to strengthen, stretch and elongate all the muscles in your body. This is the same training that produces professional ballet dancers - with their amazing strength and physical lines - but here we simplify it, add one pound weights around the wrists and one and a half pound weights around the ankles to accelerate the absorption of all that wonderful training into your body. Of all dance forms, ballet is the most transformational. If you'd like to acquire the fluid lines of a dancer, this is the ONLY way you will achieve it. If you want to bulk up, the gym is best. But if you want to lean out, improve your posture, tone your legs, arms and back and become more flexible - Weighted Barre is for you.
